We went to Chick-Fil-A today.  It was a warm sunny day when we talked about:

  • Broadband woes.  Still not cheap.  We suspected it was done on purpose, because they can just overcharge and we still pay for it.
  • Kanye was a jackass.  Not very presidential for Obama, but still commendable since he finally told the truth.
  • Financial companies sharing information to third party.  Are they sharing our financial numbers, or just our shopping habits?  Could be anything. Scary!  They make it difficult to opt-out, too!
  • Next vacation.  I just visited The Getty Museum.  Maybe Palm Springs is next?

  1. Hi Rudy,
The Getty Museum… I went to the new one a few years ago, and need to go back. The setting and views are spectacular. I just wish I had made it to the original one (by the beach) when it was open to the public.
It bugs me to no end that I need to OPT OUT to keep companies from sharing my info. It should be the other way around. They should need to get my permission to share it, instead of putting the burden on me to stop them. Arggghhhhh….

    Hey Steve,

The Getty used to be near the beach? I didn’t know that. I guess they needed the real estate for more lucrative ventures, like expensive tiny beach houses. 🙂
