We went to Islands last Wednesday.  It was a warm sunny day when we talked about:

  • The golf game at Dad Miller Golf Course.  It was my annual outing for my friend’s birthday.  We seldom play, so our progress is stagnant.
  • Possibly going golf in an early tee time (6am) for half-a-round back-9.   That way, those of us with wives can go home before 9am, bringing donuts for breakfast.
  • Lexus car maintenance.  Upto $100 for an oil change?  I’m glad I don’t have a Lexus.
  • Guppy House.  What is it?  It’s just fancy hang-out, serving greasy fried “comfort” food.  The one in Diamond Jamboree is busy all the time.
  • Buying and collecting movies.  May not be relevant, now that companies are starting to offer streaming or downloadable movies.
  • Housing market in the surrounding OC/LA area being down.  Especially in Temecula and Rancho Cucamonga.

    hey Rudy,
SMALL WORLD. I stumbled onto yoast.com when I was reading his post “Make the scrapers work for you!” about a plugin to include your blog link and post link at the bottom of each post. I saw you made the second comment, and said you were using it. So I clicked over here to see what it looked like, but I don’t see it?
Anyway, with 9 million or so blogs, what are the odds of running into you (your comment actually) on some random blog… small world. ~ Steve, aka trade show displays

    Hey Steve,

The post on Joost de Valk’s blog was about the RSS Footer plugin. It will only be seen through my RSS feed, which is how most scrapers steal posts from.

Also, I try my best to comment on quality blogs. So chances are, if you see me on them, they’re (were?) good blogs. 🙂

  3. Hi Rudy,
Ah ha… the rss feed thing. Shows how much I still have to learn about blogging! I’m not sure if any of my stuff has been scraped (or if I would care that much at this point), but I think I’ll install that plug-in as well. Can’t hurt. Thanks,
