Entrecard SymbolI thought about doing a review on EntreCard, but I don’t know what else to say about it, other than It Worksโ„ข! But don’t just take my word for it. Here are some of the reviews from other EntreCard zealotsusers that pretty much summarize my thoughts on it:

For the brave, I dare you to check out GorillaSushi and jDonuts for some Unsolicited-But-Much-Appreciated-Abuse of EntreCard link love.

You mean the one in EntreCard Forum? Yeah, the thread is quite informative and entertaining.

  3. The best result of my Unsolicited-But-Much-Appreciated-Abuse of EntreCard link love and Sam’s rants is the fact that people are talking about Entrecard in more of a three dimensional way – not just “hey, Entrecard is rad, check it out” – and writing posts like this with meaningful and useful links to other Entrecard members.

Well done and thanks for the link!

Jason – GorillaSushi’s last blog post..Yes. Party time. Excellent.

  4. I’ve read that too… controversial, indeed!

Oh, by the way, if you need additional EC credits, I’m giving away 2000 Entrecards in 24 hours. Drop by at my website to check the details.

    Cheers!

Thank you for the link, I don’t know if mine is a review as much as a rant about how it works. But hey, glad you liked it! ๐Ÿ˜€

@Jason: Thanks for the kind words. It was enlightening to read about link farming and page ranking. Stuff that I don’t pay too much attention to.

@Dulce: It’s not so much controversial. It’s actually petty bickering. I mean most of us build blogs and put in good content, not worrying about Google page ranks and SEO. People who are too focused on being visible in Google/Search Engines are the ones making it a big deal.

@Cameron: a rant can be a review ๐Ÿ™‚ But you nailed it right when you said most are obsessed with John Chow. They’re trying to get visibility into his web site, and mostly trying to be like him. Not much originality in that. That’s my rant too.

@Beth: You’re welcome! Keep it up, I may just keep sending you more link love! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  8. I’m glad to see you’ve gotten some good traffic come Entrecard, as well as good comments. I’ve only been with Entrecard for two days and I’m shocked and amazed at the traffic and comments I’ve gotten already, and my subscriber numbers jumped through the roof! Good job on this post!
