Today is Thanksgiving, one of my favorite time of the year.  I like to add more to my list of things to be thankful for:

  • Even though my nearest family is 2000 miles away, I still have friends we can spend Thanksgiving dinner with.
  • Even though I’m not good at cooking, there are other people who can cook MUCH better than I’ll ever be able to (and are willing to share their bounty)!
  • Even though it’s cold and miserable outside, it’s very warm and cozy inside the house.
  • Even though some parts the world are in turmoil, this country is safe and secure.
  • Even though we’re in an economic recession, we can still talk about going for Black Friday shopping.

I wish Thanksgiving is every day, as it should be.  Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving to you too. I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I went to a big dinner and ate as much Turkey as I can. Didnt really go Black Friday shopping since thats the time of year when its likely to get stabbed on your way to your car. Plus, I didnt really find anything I wanted.

    Hey Farzan,

We didn’t have turkey. Instead we had roast beef, ham, and prime ribs. Lots of sides and deserts, too! We were stuffed!

I didn’t go Black Friday shopping either, but I never expected it to be a violent one. Must be a bad neighborhood you’re living in. 😉
