Cthulhu License PlateI’ve been driving for a long time and get stuck in traffic a lot. It gets boring and frustrating, so my mind wanders from time to time. Luckily, there are moments when the car in front of me provides something to think about. I’ve seen so many clever license plates and their frames, I’ve started to compile a small list. Here are some of the best license plate frames I’ve seen:

  • 99% Angel. But oh that 1%!
  • Why be difficult when you can be impossible!
  • Get out of my mind. It’s dark and scary in there.
  • My other car is a Hearse.
  • L.A. Kings. They Don’t Puck Around.
  • You won’t get a lemon at Toyota of Orange.

For the geek in all of us, this cool LED license plate frame is sure going to cause fender benders.

You know, I thought I live in a nanny State, but apparently Texas outlaws license plate frames! That must’ve taken the fun out of motoring over there. But word from the street, it’s not typically enforced, so people get away with having the frames installed. That’s good, because I hate to see cops spend too much time ticketing an old lady with a frame that said “World’s greatest Grandma”.

What other funny license plate frame sayings and slogans have you seen?

That’s a good one. The variation of the Enterprise Rent-a-Car frame has created a trend in creativity. I’m surprised they didn’t copyright it so they can rake in some profits.

  3. I always enjoy a clever or funny plate, frame, or bumper sticker. The thing is, I can never remember them later!

Hi Melissa. I have the same problem too. I couldn’t remember them after I get home. That’s why I use the site called Jott. I can use my cell phone to dictate, upto 30 seconds, any English words and they’ll try to convert them to text. Then you can review them later in the website, or via email. Very handy.

You can even use Jott to send directly to your favorite social media sites like Twitter.

Hi Tommy. I’ll for sure stay at least half a mile away from the car. 😉
