Anehim Magazine Summer 2007 CoverThese days, I have a short list of TV shows that I watch on a regular basis.  “Heroes” is one of them.  When I watched the pilot episode in early 2006, I thought I could potentially continue watching this.  True enough, the show got really popular and now it has a chance to stay on the air for at least a couple of more years to come.  After watching the first season finale, I can be certain of that now – lots of story potential: new heroes, new plots (and twists), and even at a new timelime!

One of the main hero in the show was Peter Petrelli, played by Milo Ventimiglia.  What I didn’t know was that Milo is originally from Anaheim, Orange County (California), the city I’m currently living in.  I just saw his picture on the cover of Anaheim Magazine for Summer 2007 and read the article.  The article asked him many questions, and the ones relevant to this town are below:

AM: What’s your favorite part of growing up in Orange County?

Milo: I was born in Anaheim, but grew up in Orange. Living five towns from the beach was great. Orange County was my foundation; it is a great place to grow up. It is a very nurturing and protective place, but not too separated from the realities of the world.

AM: What are your favorite places in Anaheim?

Milo: Angels games at Angel Stadium and going to other sporting events such as Ducks games at Honda Center. I grew up as an Angels fan going to games with my family. Baseball games are a time to be social, without dealing with people who are too loud or rambunctious.

AM:What high school did you attend?

Milo: El Modena High School in Orange, class of 1995.
