Now the smoke is settling over the entire Orange County/LA area. I walked outside this morning and smelled burned ashes. Air quality is bad, but it’s nothing compared to the traffic mess these evacuations caused. Hopefully this stuff will clear out in a couple days, making way for a good clean fun weekend!

Looks like they got the fire under safe control, according to the OC Register newspaper report. The house is pretty safe, buffered by an 10-lane highway I-91 and a regional park.
