Remember the movie “Big“? Remember the scene where Tom Hanks and Robert Loggia were playing “Chopsticks” on a giant floor piano at the toy store? Well, they’ve outdone that at FAO Schwarz. These two gals did a rendition of Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor together! It was so much fun to watch. Check it out below:
FAO Schwarz’s staff also did a rendition of “Chopsticks” below:
Here’s the original scene from the movie “Big”:
CBS Early Show did a coverage of The Big Piano two years ago. I wish I knew about this last year when we visited New York City. We could’ve checked it out.

hi Rudy,
Very cool videos!
I loved Big. I think I’ll have to get it from Netflix for my kids to watch. And that’s a little less expensive than flying to New York. 🙂 ~ Steve
That first video definitely was great with the Bach performances. I had to show it to my wife and daughter! Daughter started dancing, wife wants to play on the piano and me too.
Hey David,
I showed the video to my daughter also, and she wanted to see it over, and over again! Good stuff.
Steve,
I think it’s time for me re-watch the movie “Big” also. I think they may have a special edition DVD for it, or a double feature with Jennifer Garner’s “13 Going on 30“.
