Just got back last saturday from a trip to San Francisco, and I must say it was pretty exhausting week, eventhough it was suppose to be my days off work. The city itself were pretty good, as usual, a beautiful place to view and explore, so many things to see. I have lived in Bay Area for 4 years since 1997, and the city still look fresh and exciting. Maybe it’s because of the people, or just the mix of quaint and modern architecture. I’m still quite fond of the city, despite of the high cost of living and the traffic nightmare. Myself, Yantie and little Kaitlyn stayed at Orchard Hotel which is a nice “boutique” hotel right in downtown, between Powell and Bush St., minutes from Union Square and Chinatown. During our stay we managed to see the signature SF sites: the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, Japanese Tea Garden, Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, Lombard St., and Japantown. There was just so much to see, and we couldn’t go to them all as we had to divide our time between visiting friends and family. Maybe we’ll just come back next time.
“Days off work”? You told us you were in training! 😛
Company sponsored training are considered “days off work”. Hehehe….
