Even though Michael Grimm won this year’s America’s Got Talent, it’s no doubt in me and my wife’s opinions, the real winner is Jackie Evancho. She’s only 10 years old but has a sweet angelic voice! She has a phenomenal talent. My daughter is 5 years old and she loves listening to her voice. We regularly play Sarah Brightman on Pandora, so her operatic style of singing is both familiar and soothing.

I followed this year because they replaced David Hasselhoff with Howie Mandell. So I wanted to see how different it could be. Not that much different.
As in any of these talent shows, only a handful will become the talk of the nation. Jackie is certainly one, in a big way!
