I saw this new T-Shirt design from Threadless Tees called “The Marvelous Cartoon Wigs Museum”, and it’s an instant hit with me! I know these characters – I grew up with them.

The one for 1966 is The Smurfs, with that particular image looking like Smurfette. Most people don’t realize The Smurfs are that old because the brand was so popular in the 80s, but The Smurfs first appeared in a comic strip in 1958.
